Why?

does preying on the grief of a family sound like prime time news to some people?

Perfectly appropriate to watch while havin dinner?

Im in that mood...

Its still 10.30, early morning by any standards. So there I was, tweaking my virtual Portfolio ( I made 33% in the last 5 days thankyouverymuch), and doing some such nonsense, which now includes rushing over the headlines on the Google news page. Today I thought I'd bloghop a little. And maybe I'm going too far, but I think I understand the motivation behind most blogs:

1. The need to talk in circles. To ramble on and on about not quite something, without reaching not quite somewhere.
2. The need to stretch out emotions so much, and so far, and so much beyond recognition, that they're difficult to comprehend, even for the most sticky psychoanalysts.
3. The need to fill space with something that looks nice, reads better, but means nothing.
4. The need to make lists. It is a phenomenon, that cannot be over emphasized. (Top 100 Richest, lowest paid people in South Mumbai).
5. The need to fulfill that want for attention, thats really getting a little difficult what with the growing insignificance my fellow earthlings increasingly inherit from their forefathers.(What was I saying about filling space again?). Or lets just call it leaving footprints in the sands of e-time.
6. The need to rant... (self explained).
7. Freedom of expression! ( Protected by the Constitution, destroyed by the individual).
8. Hey... did I mention blogging is so frigging cool... you should totally check mine out :).
9. The need to be part of some mechanism, that feeds off our creativity and fills the coffers of a mostly capitalist framework, thats increasingly getting access to our most intimate and sensetive information. (Did I mention the need to rant...?).
10. Poetry.

The blogging world, quite frankly is a toilet for the written word... and what can I say... Crap away!
